Our Church Leadership

Our Church thrives because of the energy and style of the people who lead it. Here are a few of the people that make our church community special:

Pastor Jason Carle

Pastor Jason loves his role as teacher and resident theologian for the congregation. He graduated from St. Paul School of Theology with a Master of Divinity in 2002. He occasionally inflicts guitar playing and singing on the congregation during the sermon. He enjoys playing video games and complicated games that require thick rule books- essentially, if it's something that a "geek" might do, he's probably tried it at least once. Pastor Jason and his wife Melissa have two children.

He has served as Pastor in Overland Park Presbyterian since 2009.

Cherie Daly (Office Manager/Queen for a day)

Cherie has been the Ministry Assistant for the church since 2007. As such, she performs a variety of administrative, secretarial and bookkeeping functions. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a BA in Speech and a MBA with an emphasis in Finance.

Cherie’s great grandparents were among the charter members of Overland Park Presbyterian Church in 1911.She was baptized and confirmed in this church. She was ordained as an elder in 2002 and has served on the Session as a Ruling Elder and has served two terms as Clerk of Session.

Lois Bock- (Organist/Pianist/Delightful Person)

Lois started playing the organ for her church when she was in 7th grade and has never stopped since. She graduated from Buena Vista College with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Organ Performance. She has been at OPPC since 2001. When asked to share something for this website she said, "This church provides me with beautiful instruments that are a joy to play! I like to play everything from Baroque/classical to jazz. I'm not good at these biography things. Just give me a keyboard!"
